Domingos Carvalho de Araújo

Domingos Carvalho de Araújo (born June 7, 1965 in Remexio , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor . He is a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party. In 2007 Araújo was the district head of the CNRT in Aileu .

Career

Araújo graduated from secondary school.

In 2012 Araújo became a member of the National Parliament of East Timor and a member of the Commission for Economic Affairs and Development (Commission D). In 2017, Araújo replaced Francisco Kalbuadi Lay as MP on September 5 , after narrowly missing out on re-entry in the 2017 elections at number 26 on the list. In Parliament, Araújo was a member of the Infrastructure, Transport and Communication Commission (Commission E). After the dissolution of parliament in 2018, Araújo took up position 31 of the Aliança para Mudança e Progresso (AMP), which also includes the CNRT, in the new elections on May 12 , and moved back into parliament. he is now a member of the Commission for Economy and Development (Commission D).

Araújo is a holder of the order of Nicolau Lobato Third Grandes.
