Dominika Nestarcová (born December 12, 1984 in Bratislava ) is a Slovak beach volleyball player .

Career

Nestarcová began her beach volleyball career in 2006 with Lucia Michalovičová . At the U23 European Championship in St. Pölten , she was ninth. In 2008 Nestarcová / Michalovičová played some tournaments in the CEV series. In 2009 Nestarcová won the national championship with her current partner Natália Dubovcová . Internationally, the new duo first appeared at the Masters tournaments in Gran Canaria and Berlin . Shortly afterwards, the first open tournaments followed in Stare Jabłonki and The Hague . In 2010 Dubovcová / Nestarcová successfully defended their title as Slovak champion. They also contested their first Grand Slams in Moscow and Klagenfurt . The following year they were regularly represented in this tournament series. In 2012 Dubovcová / Nestarcová qualified for the first time for the "big" European championship in Scheveningen and finished ninth. At the World Cup in Stare Jabłonki they reached the second round, where they were eliminated against the German Borger / Büthe and finished ninth.
