Dominika Strumilo (born December 26, 1996 in Sint-Niklaas , Belgium ) is a Belgian volleyball player with Polish roots.

Career

society

Strumilo began her career in 2012 with the Belgian first division club Asterix Kieldrecht , where she was in the first team from 2014. During her time in the professional team, the outside attacker was twice Belgian champion and three times Belgian cup winner.

In July 2016, the German champions and cup winners Dresdner SC announced the commitment of Dominika Strumilo. In the 2016/17 season, Strumilo was mainly used as a supplementary player, was able to show her potential in the playoffs, especially at the end of the season, and achieved third place in the championship with the team. In early May 2017, the attacker's contract was extended by two years to 2019. In the 2017/18 season, Strumilo won the cup with the Dresden club and made it to the playoff semi-finals . At the beginning of June 2018, the contract with Dresdner SC was terminated by mutual agreement and Strumilo switched to Vandœuvre Nancy Volley-Ball .

National team

Strumilo has played for the Belgian national women's volleyball team since 2014 . With the team she took part in the Volleyball World Grand Prix in 2014 and 2016 and in the European Championship in 2015 . She is also in Belgium's squad for the 2017 European Women's Volleyball Championship .
