Dominique Lefebvre (Manager)

Dominique Lefebvre (born October 27, 1961 ) is a French farmer , agricultural official and bank manager . He has been CEO of Crédit Agricole since 2015 .

Life

Lefebvre worked as a farmer in arable farming in the Eure-et-Loir department and began to organize himself in agricultural associations, including as a member of the French Agriculture Council (Conseil de l'agriculture française) and as President of the Finance Commission of the Eure-et-Loir Chamber of Agriculture (président de la commission Finances de la Chambre d'agriculture d'Eure-et-Loir). Through these functions he came to the cooperatively organized Crédit Agricole. From 1992 he was chairman of the Crédit Agricole de la Beauce et du Perche , which was renamed Crédit Agricole Val de France in 1995 and whose area of ​​responsibility includes the Loir-et-Cher and Eure-et-Loir departments. From 2004 he was a member, from 2008 deputy chairman and from 2010 to 2013 chairman of the central institute Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole (FNCA). From 2010 to 2015 he was also chairman of the SAS Rue La Boétie . From 2013 to 2015 he was President of the Confédération nationale de la mutualité, de la coopération et du Crédit Agricole (CNMCCA).

On November 4, 2015, Lefebvre was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole SA (CASA). At the end of 2015 he took over the role of Jean-Marie Sander . When he took office, a CEO took over the presidency of all three administrative areas for the first time in the company's history.
