Don Clark (psychologist)

Donald H. Clark (* 1930 ) is an American author and psychologist .

Life

After finishing school, Donald H. Clark studied psychology from 1948 to 1953 and received his bachelor's degree from Antioch College in Yellow Springs , Ohio in 1953 . Clark then worked in the Medical Corps of the United States Army . In 1959 he received his Ph.D. in Psychology from Adelphi University in New York City . Afterward, Clark was a faculty member at Hunter College and the City University of New York in the 1960s . In 1971, Clark opened his own private practice in San Francisco , which he ran until 2007. Clark served on the board of the Saybrook Institute and the Gay Rights Advocates organization and a member of the American Psychological Association (APA).

As an author, Clark has written several books on the subject of homosexuality and has written articles in specialist magazines such as Mothers' Manual and Vector .
