Donald Hodson (born 1927 in Adelaide , South Australia ) is an Australian actor .

Life

Hodson began his acting career in 1976 with an uncredited role as an unnamed Hungarian captain in Fellini's Casanova . His next film role in science fiction - B-Movie Star Crash - Stars in a Duel was also not mentioned in the credits. His name first appeared on the big screen in 1979, when he played the role of Taurog in the youth film The Black Stallion, which was nominated for two Academy Awards .
