Donald the Wild Hunter (Original title: No Hunting ) is an American animated short film directed by Jack Hannah from 1955.
action
Donald Duck is sitting in his luxurious home with roast chicken and tea when the narrator reminds him of the toil of his ancestors. Like the ancestor in a painting in Donald's dining room, they had to buy their food by hunting and were attacked by a buffalo in the process . Suddenly, the ancestor from the painting comes to life and merges with Donald, who is now just as suddenly gripped by the hunting fever - as do hundreds of other men.
So it happens that Donald is stuck in a traffic jam on the way to the hunting ground, he is later assigned a tent in a huge sea of tents in the forest and the deer know that people are approaching when the river is full of rubbish again. As soon as the hunt is started, the forest resembles a battlefield, the city hunters shoot around indiscriminately, hide in trees or dig trenches. Individual coordinators supply certain hunting areas with either mustard or new ammunition. Since even the neighboring farmer marked his remaining cattle in front of the blind zealous hunters as a cow so that they would not be shot as an alleged deer, the men return defeated like a defeated army to their campsite in the end. Only Donald's ancestor is proud and pulls the listlessly chewing cow behind him - at least some meat, so his comment.
production
Donald the Wild Hunter came to theaters on January 14, 1955 as part of the Disney cartoon series Donald Duck .
In one scene, Disney's Bambi and his mother can be seen in the forest, guessing the incoming people from a littered stream.
