The fastest mouse of Mexico (original title: Speedy Gonzales ; alternative title: Speedy Gonzales - Storming the Cheese Factory ) is an American animated short film by Friz Freleng from 1955.

action

Mexican mice stand at the border fence with the USA and look longingly at the AJAX cheese factory located on American territory. Numerous mice have already tried to fetch cheese from the factory, but they were always killed by the watch cat Sylvester . The mouse-less sombreros are already piling up and when another mouse chosen falls victim to the cat, Speedy Gonzales , the “fastest mouse in Mexico”, is called in as a last resort.

Speedy Gonzales appears and easily manages to break into the cheese factory and bring the Mexican mice a piece of cheese. Speedy Gonzales now rushes to the factory and back several times without Sylvester being able to catch him. He tries to get hold of the mouse with safety nets, plate mines and pipes, but always fails. When Speedy Gonzales finally announces to the mice that they are going to get all the cheese from the factory, Sylvester wants to forestall him. He stacks all the cheese boxes in front of the factory and blows them up. The enthusiastic mice are now sprinkled with small pieces of cheese and New Year's Eve is annoyed by his own stupidity.
