Donatella Maiorca

Donatella Maiorca (born September 13, 1957 in Messina ) is an Italian editing secretary and director .

Life

Maiorca studied psychology at the University of Rome and then turned to theater, where she briefly worked as an actress and assistant director. From 1981 she was involved in numerous films as an editing secretary; for Luciano Odorisio she worked as an assistant. In 1998 she made her cinema debut with Liebh @ ber sucht . In the new millennium, she directed over 75 episodes of the television series La squadra and eleven of Un posto al sole . In 2009, Sea Purple was a well-received film on the subject of homosexuality that received an award at the Gay Fest Bilbao .
