The Donau-Zeitung is a local edition of the Augsburger Allgemeine Zeitung for the district of Dillingen an der Donau . It has been published since 1945. The circulation is 12,975 copies, a decrease of 14.8 percent since 1998.

Dillinger newspaper

On October 30, 1945, Curt Alexander Frenzel and Johann Wilhelm Naumann received a license from the American military government to publish a newspaper for the Swabian region, the Schwäbische Landeszeitung , which, like its regional edition , the Dillinger Zeitung , was printed in Augsburg . Since November 1, 1959, the Schwäbische Landeszeitung has been published under the name Augsburger Allgemeine .
