The Ganden Döndrubling Monastery ( Tibetan དགའ་ ལྡན་ དོན་ འགྲུབ་ གླིང ། Wylie dga 'ldan don' grub gling ) or the Döndrubling Monastery ( don 'grub gling dgon ) is now a monastery of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism in the municipality Benzilan奔子栏乡of Dêqên (Dechen) in the same Autonomous County of Tibetans in northwest China's southwestern Chinese province of Yunnan .

Along with Ganden Sumtseling Monastery, it is one of the most important monasteries of the Gelug School in this region of Kham in Yunnan Province . The monastery was originally a monastery of the Kagyu School.

The monastery was originally founded in 1667 during the Qing Dynasty.

Today it is home to over three hundred monks with four incarnation lines of “ Living Buddhas ”. It is on the National Road 214 (G 214).

Wall paintings show, among other things, the Buddhas of the past and the Eight Medicine Buddhas .

The monastery suffered destruction during the Cultural Revolution in the 1960s, which was rebuilt in the 1980s.

The monastery has been on the list of monuments of Yunnan Province since 1987 .
