Donna Dixon (born July 20, 1957 in Alexandria , Virginia ) is an American actress .

Dixon's father was a nightclub owner . She became Miss Virginia in 1976 and first worked as a photo model . She made her debut as an actress in the television series Bosom Buddies , in which she starred from 1980 to 1982. In the film Dr. She played Detroit (1983) alongside Dan Aykroyd , whom she later married and with whom she also starred in the films Weird Shadow Lights (1983) and Spies Like Us (1985). In The Callgirl Club (1986) she starred alongside Faye Dunaway , in the film Cannonball Fever (1989) alongside John Candy , in the film Wayne's World (1992) alongside Mike Myers and Tia Carrere , in the film Nixon (1995) alongside Anthony Hopkins . She was also seen in the television series Berrenger’s , Charmed Lives and Das Model und der Schnüffler .

Dixon has been married to Dan Aykroyd since 1983 and has three daughters: Danielle (* 1989), Belle (* 1993) and Stella (* 1998).
