Dopefish
The Dopefish ( English , literally translated as "sucker fish") is a fictional character in the form of a big green fish with buck teeth , the first time in 1991 in the computer game Commander Keen Episode 4 showed up. It was designed by Tom Hall . References and cameo appearances of the character (mostly hidden as an Easter egg ) can be found in many games from Apogee Software and id Software , for example in Wacky Wheels , Duke Nukem 3D , Jazz Jackrabbit 2 , Rise of the Triad , Quake , Quake 3 Arena , Max Payne and in SiN Episodes .
Even in newer games like Alan Wake , Rage , Deus Ex: Human Revolution , Doom or Doom Eternal is Dopefish hidden. The green fish is also shown in an episode of the animated series South Park .
The dopefish is described as the second dumbest creature in the universe - an allusion to the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy , according to which the dumbest creature in the universe is the voracious babbler of Traal . His thought pattern is: “Swim, swim, hungry. Swim, swim, hungry. ” He eats everything that comes close to him, preferring heroes.
