The twin skyscraper type SK 65 is 76.35 meters high, was designed by the architects Wolfgang Ortmann and Hartmudt Pautschhat as a steel frame construction with 25 floors and completed in 1985 as part of the new Marzahn housing estate . In the ground floor and first floor retail and service businesses were integrated. Between 1994 and 1999, the twin high-rise was completely renovated in individual construction phases. The building services were renewed in the entire building , the loggia walls and parapets were repaired. The curtain wall elements were also ventilated from behind. From the end of November 1998 until the end of the year, a 426 m² photovoltaic system was installed on the entire south facade of high-rise building number 7. A total of 480 blue-colored module panels were installed, each containing 72 solar cells for power generation . The facade panels produce around 25,000  kWh of solar power annually . In 2000, the renovation of the entrance areas and the establishment of the concierge service began. At the request of the tenants, floor plans were partially changed in individual apartments between 2002 and 2004.
