description

Wichernstrasse 21 / 21a, Albertplatz side
Wichernstrasse 21 / 21a, front to Hellerstrasse. Albertplatz on the right

The three-storey apartment building is located on the western corner plot of a square in the form of a six-pointed star ( Albertplatz ). While the two corner plots in the north ( Wichernstrasse 22 and Louisenstrasse 9 ) and in the south ( Hellerstrasse 9 and Louisenstrasse 7 ) are each formed by a two-wing house with a broken corner to the square from around 1900, on the eastern corner plot there is one with the Farmhouse (Hellerstraße 11) from the 19th century facing the square . The location of the apartment building from the 1930s roughly mirrors that of its eastern counterpart.

The long side of the plastered building faces Hellerstraße. In the long sides of the tiled hipped roof , there are four dormers each on the front and back.

The windows on the ground floor are accompanied on both sides by sgraffiti by the painter Hermann Glöckner , which depicts the vineyards.
