The church

The Evangelical village church Kleinbernsdorf is located in the Kleinbernsdorf district of the rural town of Münchenbernsdorf in the Greiz district in Thuringia on the hill at the end of the village in the middle of the cemetery . It belongs to the parish of Münchenbernsdorf in the Gera parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

The Romanesque village church has a choir rectangle that supports an old wooden tower .

In 1792 the church was redesigned.

The font from the 16th century is made of sandstone . The altar from 1510 is packed in the attic.

One of the bells in the tower is from the 14th and the other from the 19th century.

The war memorial commemorates the victims of the First World War .
