The church

The evangelical village church Kromsdorf is on the Ilmradweg in the district Kromsdorf of the community Ilmtal-Weinstrasse in the district of Weimarer Land in Thuringia .

history

In the small church in Kromsdorf there is a carved altar from the 15th century. In the middle of the winged altar , Mary is shown with the baby Jesus in her arms with Katharina and Barbara . The twelve apostles are pictorially placed on the left and right wings . Jesus wears a coral necklace around his neck.

The church is bright and friendly. It is covered with slate . Also the roof turret as a tower with a pointed tower, tower button and weather vane , also with a clock . The small nave has arched windows and doors .

A small churchyard with a wall shields the church somewhat.

After the restoration of the house with the turret, the inauguration took place in 2011.
