Expansion of the village area
The municipality of Kromsdorf was made up of two districts: Kromsdorf-Nord in the Ilmtal, which used to be the place Großkromsdorf , and Kromsdorf-Süd auf dem Berg, formerly Kleinkromsdorf . On the border of the two districts lies the bridge at the sports field, which was only passable for pedestrians until it was rebuilt in the 1960s.
