Kleinkromsdorf is part of the rural community of Ilmtal-Weinstrasse in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia .

Kleinkromsdorf (now Kromsdorf-Süd) is located east of Tiefurt near the Ilm . The border to Großkromsdorf (now Kromsdorf-Nord) is the Ilmbrücke at the sports field.
history
The first mention of Kleinkromsdorf is to be separated from Großkromsdorf. 1382 Kromsdorf kleyne is first mentioned . Wolfgang Kahl found 1378. In 1512 the name appears again. In the Middle Ages , the Weimar Monastery was located here . Kleinkromsdorf was created on the Ilmfurt and was a dead end village . One of the owners was Johann Maximilian Albrecht von Laßberg . His daughter was Christiane Henriette Sophie von Laßberg .
On July 1, 1950, the municipalities of Großkromsdorf and Kleinkromsdorf were merged to form a new municipality of Kromsdorf , which in turn was incorporated into the Ilmtal-Weinstraße on January 1, 2019.
Kleinkromsdorf has been expanded to include a new building area since 1991 and has merged with Großkromsdorf.
