The Protestant village church Nermsdorf is in the village of Nermsdorf in the rural community Am Ettersberg in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia . It belongs to the rectory of Buttelstedt in the Apolda-Buttstädt parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

In 1988 the village church Nermsdorf burned down to the surrounding walls due to a technical defect in the underfloor heating .

Reconstruction has been carried out step by step since 1999.

The baroque exterior appearance of the nave was retained . The interior was designed in a modern way.

For cost reasons, the reconstruction of the baroque onion dome had to be dispensed with.
