history

The date of the construction of the first church is unknown. Two bells are dated 1670 and 1714. The date 1753 is on the pulpit wall of today's building; that year the church was fundamentally renewed.

Inside the triumphal arch is the year 1908. The nave has a rococo ceiling and houses the pulpit altar with pulpit. In the room there are representations of the cross, chalice and anchor as well as a two-part hourglass .

The organ was moved from Sättelstädt to Nimritz in 1919 .

The bell from 1714 had to be re-cast in 1949 after being removed in 1942 to melt it down and cracked in the process.
