Obertrebra village church
The Protestant village church Obertrebra is located in the municipality of Obertrebra to the northeast on a higher level in the district of Weimarer Land in Thuringia .
history
In the years 1250, 1256 and 1281 a pastor living in the village was mentioned in a document. The village church was first mentioned in a document on January 3, 1269. Later reports were made from 1679–1688 that the village church was rebuilt with a steeple .
It is a choir tower church with a nave and arched windows as well as a gable roof with six dormers each . The roof is slate like the tower. The tower with hood and lantern , tower knob and weather vane is the eye-catcher of the church . The cemetery is walled.
A memorial plaque has been attached to the cemetery wall for the grave of a concentration camp prisoner .
