Evangelical Church in Pörsdorf

The Protestant village church Pörsdorf is located in the district of Pörsdorf of the municipality of Kraftsdorf in the district of Greiz in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish Rüdersdorf-Kraftsdorf in the parish of Gera of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

The church was built in 1835 on the walls of a previous building. In 1876 it was restored and got flat ceilings on the choir and in the church tower . The tower has an irregular octagon with a tail dome and a helmet .

In 1959 the church was painted.

The bells , one made of chilled iron and one made of bronze , can be operated by hand.

The church is equipped with a circumferential gallery and a classicist pulpit altar . The organ is not playable.
