Steinbrücken village church

The Protestant village church Steinbrücken is in the Steinbrücken district of the city of Nordhausen in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia .

history

In 1668 Jacob Pape from Erfurt created a small church bell for the church in Steinbrücken. So the church must have already existed. A fire destroyed this church in 1720. With this fire all written documents of the place were lost. In 1745 the purchase of an organ for the newly built church is proven. In 1779 a big bell was cast for the village in Nordhausen. In 1857 the nave of the church was extended due to lack of space.
