Untitz village church

The Protestant village church Untitz is located in the Untitz district of the Wünschendorf / Elster community in the Greiz district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish Wünschendorf in the parish of Gera of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

The previous Romanesque church with a choir and a barrel vault as well as a round-arched triumphal arch , about which nothing is known, was rebuilt in 1690.

In the 18th century got nave a beamed ceiling and an octagonal beschieferten roof skylights . Around 1950 the community room was added separately on the north side of the choir room. The hand- rung bell was installed in 1808. The house has a circumferential gallery made of wood with brown painting. The pulpit and the simple block altar are in the triumphal arch.
