Half-timbered house at Dorfstrasse 1 in Steinbach

The Dorfstraße 1 building in Steinbach , a district of the market town of Burghaun in the eastern Hessian district of Fulda , was built in 1781. The half-timbered house is a protected cultural monument .

The two-storey saddle roof construction with a visible framework with a storey overhang on all sides has a regular structure with man figures on the collar and corner posts and a herringbone framework in the middle of the respective wall sections. The entablature zone is profiled.

The entrance porch is more recent and has been adapted to the house. The farm buildings of the former farm were demolished when the road was renewed.
