Doris Hertrampf

Doris Hertrampf (born March 20, 1948 in Schötmar ) is a German diplomat and was ambassador to North Korea and Tajikistan .

Life

After schooling Doris Hertrampf first completed from 1962 to 1965 a professional training for industrial clerk and then worked as an industrial clerk before 1971 her Abitur caught up. She then completed a degree in economics and graduated in 1977 with a degree in economics . She then worked as a research associate at the Westphalian Wilhelms University before joining the Foreign Service in 1981 .

career

After completing her training as an attaché , it was used in the Foreign Office from 1983 to 1984 . She then worked at the Consulate General in Bombay , then at the Embassy in South Korea in 1986 and again from 1989 to 1992 at the Foreign Office. After a subsequent position at the embassy in Russia , she was Deputy Head of Division in the Foreign Office between 1996 and 2002 and, as such, most recently head of the external representation of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Tallinn from 2000 to 2001 .

From 2002 to 2005 she was Ambassador to North Korea , then Head of Division at the Foreign Office. From 2008 to 2013 Doris Hertrampf was ambassador to Tajikistan .
