Dorothee Danner

Dorothee Danner (born February 22, 1949 in Marl-Hüls ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After completing secondary school , she completed a carpenter's training and passed the journeyman's examination in 1967 . From 1967 to 1979 she worked in the furniture trade , arts and crafts and in an antique shop. After that she was a housewife. She is married and has two kids.

Danner had been a member of the SPD since 1976. She was active in various bodies of the SPD, from 1992 to 2000 as deputy SPD sub-district chair and from 2000 to 2006 as sub-district chair.

MPs

From June 1, 1995 to June 2, 2005 Danner was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . She was elected directly in the Herford II state electoral district. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2005 , she lost her direct mandate to Chris Bollenbach (CDU).

She was a member of the Herford District Council from 1989 to 1995. She was deputy district administrator .
