The Doué is a left southern branch of Senegal in the Senegalese region of Saint-Louis . At the same time as the Diamel flows into the main stream , it branches off from this in turn. There is the village of Ganguel on the left bank near the town of Galoya Toucouleur . 143 kilometers further north-west, near the village of Doué , the main and secondary streams reunite.
Doué and Senegal surround the island of Morfil , on which the most important city on the bank of the main river is the departmental prefecture of Podor . On the other hand , on the Doué is Ndioum , the largest city in the Podor department .
