The Douglas Bay is a 1.3 km wide and crescent-shaped bay on the Mawson coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Lands . Its bank is lined with the Scullin monolith .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them after Eric Douglas (1902-1970), participant of the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson .
