Guillaume Leroux (* 1968 in Paris ) is a French hardcore techno and techno DJ and producer. He is mainly known under the pseudonyms Lunatic Asylum and Dr. Macabre known.
biography
Guillaume Leroux started producing music on his Amiga in the early 1990s . Under the pseudonym Lunatic Asylum he released the hard trance classic "The Meltdown" in 1993 , which was re-released in new versions in 1999 and 2000 and finally made it into the German single charts. Remixes by DJ Taucher and Kay Cee were also released .
He achieved another hit in 1996 under the pseudonym Dr. Macabre . The song Poltergeist , which can be assigned to the Doomcore music style , is also considered a classic today. With his harder music style, Leroux was particularly successful in the Netherlands and Germany .
