Dragan Trkulja (born September 30, 1964 in Sombor , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian football player and now works as a coach .

career

Trkulja came in 1992 from FK Becej by Germany for SSV Ulm 1846 . He stayed here for ten years and experienced and helped shape the club's most successful period. In 1996 he was the top scorer of the Regionalliga Süd with 25 goals this season and two years later he helped the club as the most successful internal goalscorer to rise to the 2nd Bundesliga . Here, too, with 14 goals this season, he was number 1 ahead of David Zdrilic and was able to celebrate the surprising breakthrough into the Bundesliga with his team .

In the House of Lords he was ousted by Hans van de Haar's new buyer and was mainly used as a joker. He scored his only first division goal on October 2, 1999 in the game against Hamburger SV , when he took the 1-0 lead in the 2-1 defeat.

In the second division season after relegation, he was used five times. After falling into the Württemberg Association League , he remained loyal to the sparrows and was able to celebrate promotion to the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga in 2002 .

He then moved to FV Senden , where he ended his playing career in 2005. This was followed by an engagement as a coach at Türkgücü Ulm in the district league Danube / Iller , in which he had to compete against his old clubs SSV Ulm 1846 II and FV Senden, among others. From 2009 to 2012 he worked as a player- coach for the regional division club Eintracht Autenried . Then he was the coach of the district league club TSV Westerstetten , with whom he rose to the district league in the 2013/14 season. From 2014 to 2017 Trkulja was the coach of the district league club SV Mähringen , and since the 2017/2018 season he has also been a coach in the district league at RSV Hohenmemmingen.
