Johannes "Hans" van de Haar (born February 1, 1975 in Amersfoort ) is a Dutch former football player and current football coach . He played in German professional football from 1998 to 2001.

career

Van de Haar first played in the youth of USV Elinkwijk and FC Utrecht before moving to the youth department of Ajax Amsterdam for a year .

In 1994 he went to HFC Haarlem , who played in the Eerste Divisie. His professional debut on October 1, 1994, however, was lost 4-1 to Fortuna Sittard . After two years he moved to De Graafschap Doetinchem in the Eredivisie .

In 1998 they became aware of van de Haar in Germany and the second division KFC Uerdingen 05 signed him at the end of the transfer period in October of that year. Here he quickly became a regular player, but could not prevent relegation to the regional league .

Van de Haar then moved to SSV Ulm in 1846 , who had surprisingly been promoted to the Bundesliga. He was the first of four Ulm players who were sent off the field on September 10, 1999 in the 1: 2 away defeat at Hansa Rostock and thus set a Bundesliga record: Van de Haar saw the yellow card in the 45th minute of the game after two fouls -Red card. He scored his first goal in the top German league on September 25, 1999 in a 2-2 draw at Werder Bremen , when he was able to convert a penalty kick in the 75th minute into a 2-1 lead. He scored a total of ten goals in the season, making van de Haar the club's best Bundesliga scorer. Even after the descent, he remained loyal to the sparrows, but several injuries (including compression of the cervical spine, tick bite) paralyzed him for a long time, so that he had to be treated for a manic-depressive illness. He only made eight games in the second division, and only scored against FC St. Pauli . So he could hardly help the club in the relegation battle and was relegated in his third season in Germany.

Van de Haar then tried briefly in Austria at Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz , but returned to the Netherlands after only half a year in the Austrian Bundesliga and signed De Graafschap at his first division. When they were relegated from the Eredivisie in 2003, he went to his former youth club, FC Utrecht. In 2005 he moved to RKC Waalwijk , where he was part of the regular squad for two seasons. In the summer of 2007 he was used six times in the relegation games; since he remained without a goal, he could not prevent the club's relegation to the Eerste Divisie. He left the club and switched to the second division club ADO Den Haag, where he received a contract until 2009 and contributed to the club's promotion to the Eredivisie in summer 2008, but was then no longer taken into account in the planning of the new coach André Wetzel . In September 2008 van de Haar was loaned to AGOVV Apeldoorn , where he played on an amateur basis in the 2009/2010 season.

Van de Haar holds an amateur coaching license and was from April 2009 coordinator of youth football at the amateur club SC Hoevelaken .

From May 2010 van de Haar played in the team of Dayton Dutch Lions FC in the US American and Canadian USL Premier Development League . He received a contract with a term of two and a half years. After the end of the 2010 season he left the Lions in the direction of SV Spakenburg . In 2012 he ended his active career with Veensche Boys in the Netherlands.

Since July 2013 he has been coaching the Dutch third division club FC Lienden .
