The Drake Glacier ( Polish Lodowiec Drake'a ) is a large glacier on the north coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located between False Round Point and Glass Point and flows into Corsair Bight .
Polish scientists named it in 1984 in connection with the naming of the bay into which it flows. It is named after the English privateer and explorer Francis Drake (≈1540–1596).
