Dreßler Bau is a German construction company and was founded in 1913 in Großostheim by Gabriel Dreßler (1875–1960). Just a few years after it was founded, the First World War almost completely came to a standstill.

In 1932 Adam Dreßler (1906–1977) joins the construction business as a partner. Because of the good development of the company with a focus on general building construction, the company was renamed "Gabriel Dreßler & Sohn, Baugeschäft" in 1935 and relocated to Aschaffenburg .

Between 1931 and 1950 the company developed into a medium-sized construction company and expanded its activities towards the Odenwald and Darmstadt . The focus was on building barracks, sewer works and general civil engineering.

The Darmstadt branch was founded in 1949 and the Rastatt branch in 1951 . From Darmstadt, the area of ​​action was expanded into the Frankfurt area. From Rastatt, Dreßler Bau was very active in earthworks and civil engineering for about 30 years, especially with large construction contracts for the construction of motorways throughout southern Germany.
