The Dreiherrenstein ( Ritterstein No. 57), located south of the Weißenberg in the direction of Hermersbergerhof in a saddle, is a historical border marker .

description
This is a flat boulder that marks the border situation in 1773 between the possessions of the Wittelsbach dukes of Palatinate-Zweibrücken , the Counts of Leiningen - Leiningen-Hardenburg-Dagsburg line - and the Gräfenstein rulership belonging to the margraviate of Baden documented. For this purpose, not only the coats of arms of these possessions, but also the boundaries of the historical forest markings were carved into the surface of the rock. The coat of arms of Baden with the letters “MB” (Margraviate Baden) and the coat of arms of Pfalz-Zweibrücken with its diamond structure and the addition “PZ” (Pfalz-Zweibrücken) are clearly visible. The letters "KW" (Royal Forest) were attached after 1831 during the Bavarian period of the Palatinate and were used to mark the Bavarian state forest. In addition, during the design of the rock as a knight's stone by the Palatinate Forest Association - as usual in such cases - the designation "Dreiherrenstein" and the abbreviation "PWV" next to it were engraved on its front.
