Drew Smith
Drew Smith is a Scottish politician and a member of the Labor Party . Smith studied at the Universities of Glasgow and Aberdeen and the Open University . He lives in Glasgow .
Between 2005 and 2006, Smith was chairman of the Scottish Labor Party's youth organization and subsequently served for various Labor MPs. From 2007 to 2010 was elected to the Scottish Trades Union Congress and between 2008 and 2009 chairman of its youth committee. In the Scottish parliamentary elections in 2011 , Smith stood as a Labor Party list candidate for the Glasgow electoral region and, alongside Hanzala Malik and Anne McTaggart, was one of three Labor candidates on the regional list for the first time in the Scottish Parliament .
