Driftwood was a Dutch trance project consisting of Thijs Ploegmakers , Dirk Jans and Ron van Kroonenburg.
history
Thijs Ploegmakers and Dirk Jans were both born in Schaijk , a town in the south of Holland , and have known each other since their youth. In 2002 and 2003, together with her friend Ron van Kroonenburg, they produced the singles Freeloader and Anything Goes under the project name Driftwood. Freeloader became a worldwide club hit and also reached chart positions in the UK, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
In 2006 the duo Ploegmakers and Jans released another single Take a Ride under the name Shocksteady , which was able to place in the Dutch Tipparade.
