Drop Out Chaos is a Berlin street rock band.
history
Founded in 2004, the Berlin band released their debut album Lebenslängen in 2006 on the Essen-based independent label Sunny Bastards Records . Even before the release, the record caused a sensation when Broken Silence refused to sell it because of sexist lyrics. Originally intended as a mini EP, the disc was recorded and mixed in the Bomp Music Studio in Berlin-Wedding in spring 2006. The disc received a predominantly positive response in the scene press. In the same year, before the album was pressed, the band presented themselves with the later opener Drop Out on the label sampler Sun Of A Bastard Vol. 1 .
After a label change to Burnout Records , Drop Out Chaos returned 3 years after their debut album with their second album Kalt und Dreckig in autumn 2009. For the first time, the Kugelphone Studio was recorded and mixed under the direction of Micha and René von Anticops , with Peter "Pluto" Neuber from Vintagemastering doing the mastering and the cover artwork was created by Stoneface Design. In the course of the label change, the debut album Lifetime was distributed in a limited edition with a new cover and inlay on Burnout Records from 2010 .
The years 2009 to 2012 the band spent as much as possible playing at many festivals (including OFT-Festival, Back On The Streets Festival, Oi For You Festival, Spreewald-Rock-Festival) and played as a support act a. a. around 100 concerts for KrawallBrüder , Perkele and Grober Knüppel .
In August 2012, the third work was published, Where does the journey go . Together with “The Real German Manchester United Group”, the band launched a project in 2013 in honor of the Manchester United football club. The band released a single that was strictly limited to 500 copies under the name "DOC United". In December 2015 the live DVD / CD "10 Years - Live in Berlin" was released. The band celebrated their 10th anniversary on October 25, 2014 in the Berlin club Wild At Heart and had the concert filmed and recorded for the DVD. The fourth studio album "Apocalypse" will be released on July 7, 2017.
