description

Drosera collinsiae are herbaceous plants , they grow as loose, down-to-earth rosettes. The one or two roots are slightly swollen at the top.

The leaf stalks are around 4 centimeters long, thin and hairless, the stipules are fused with the petiole below, fringed ear-shaped above and up to 2 millimeters long. The blade is around 1.2 centimeters long, 8 millimeters wide, inverted ovoid to spatulate and smooth on the underside.

The inflorescences bend away from the base of the rosette, the inflorescence axis is upright and up to 17 centimeters long, but mostly shorter. At its end, it bears two to seven flowers that are up to 17 millimeters long, thread-like flower stalks .

The sepals are fused, the individual lobes are up to 3 millimeters long and egg-shaped. The petals are inverted egg-shaped, pink and have an approximate length of 6 millimeters.

The thin stamens are flattened. The stylus are forked from the base, curved upwards, the scars spoon-shaped. The capsule fruits are around 1.5 millimeters in diameter, the seeds ovate and have a reticulate surface.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 40.
