Drutmar Cremer OSB (born January 26, 1930 in Koblenz ) is a German writer , publisher and theologian .

Life

After attending the Aloisius College in Bad Godesberg , where he also graduated from high school, he entered the Benedictine Abbey of Maria Laach in 1952 . After studying philosophy and theology , he was ordained a priest in 1958 . From 1960 to 1967 he worked as a youth pastor in Maria Laach . Since 1971 he has headed the art publishing house Maria Lach and the art workshops located there. From 1991 to 2002 Drutmar Cremer was prior of the abbey.
