The Dsawchan Gol ( Mongolian Завхан гол ) is a river in western Mongolia .
The Dsawchan Gol arises on the southern flank of the Changai Mountains at the confluence of its two source rivers Buijant Gol and Schar-Us Gol . It initially flows south, then turns west. Finally it flows through Lake Airag Nuur and shortly afterwards flows into Lake Chjargas Nuur to the north . The Dzawchan Gol has a length of 670 km. Its catchment area covers 150,000 km². The river is fed by meltwater from glaciers and snowmelt . Its mean discharge when leaving the mountain area is 60 m³ / s. The water of the Dsawchan Gol is used for irrigation .
