Dušan Kéketi (born March 24, 1951 in Bratislava ) is a former Czechoslovak soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Kéketi began playing football at Spoje Bratislava, in 1967 he moved to ČH Bratislava , two years later Spartak Trnava signed the goalkeeper . In the 1976/77 season he did his military service with Dukla Banská Bystrica and then returned to Trnava . From 1983 to 1996 he played for Austria Klagenfurt in the Austrian Bundesliga . Kéketi was Czechoslovak football champion in 1971, 1972 and 1973.

He was part of the squad of the Czechoslovak national team at the 1980 European Football Championship in Italy , where the Czechoslovaks won the bronze medal. In total, he played seven times for his home country.

Kéketi remained clean in 135 first division games and is a founding member of the goalkeeper association Klub ligových brankářů .

Functionary career

From 2003 to 2007, Kéketi headed the national NTC training center of the Slovak Football Association in Senec . From July 2007 to February 2008 the former goalkeeper was the general manager of Spartak Trnava. Kéketi had previously worked as a goalkeeping coach in Trnava, at First Vienna FC, as well as in Senec and Senica.
