Duncan Atwood
Duncan Atwood ( Duncan Fuller MacTavish Atwood; born October 11, 1955 in Seattle ) is a former American javelin thrower .
In 1979 he won the Pan American Games in San Juan and was eighth in the World Athletics Cup in Montreal .
At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he was eleventh.
In 1987 he won again at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis and was twelfth at the World Athletics Championships in Rome .
In 1979, 1980 and 1987 he was US champion.
