Duncan Farrar connoisseur
Duncan Farrar Kenner (born February 11, 1813 in New Orleans , Louisiana , † July 3, 1887 ibid) was an American and a Confederate politician from the state of Louisiana. He was also a member of the Confederate Congress .
Kenner was a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives in 1836 and later the Louisiana Senate . He was also Louisiana's delegate to the state constitutional conventions of 1844 and 1852. He later represented Louisiana from 1861 to 1865 as a deputy to the Provisional Confederate Congress , as well as in the first and second Confederate Congresses . After the Civil War , he ran for a seat in the US Senate in 1878 , but lost. Kenner died on July 3, 1887 in New Orleans and was buried in the "Ascension Catholic Cemetery".
