Duncan Gillis
Duncan Gillis (born January 3, 1883 on Cape Breton Island , † May 2, 1963 in Vancouver ) was a Canadian hammer and discus thrower .
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, he won the silver medal behind Matt McGrath from the USA and ahead of his compatriot Clarence Childs . In the discus throw, he took 14th place.
In 1901 he was Canadian hammer throw champion and 1913 discus throw.
