Britta Steck

Britta Steck (born August 4, 1965 ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Life

From June 18, 2011 to April 2013, she and Uwe Diederichs-Seidel were state spokeswoman for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Rhineland-Palatinate. She was previously from 1992 to 1996 and from 2001 to 2011 treasurer in the state board of her party. From 2000 to 2010 she was the spokesperson for the local association in Bernkastel-Kues and from 2004 to 2010 she was also the parliamentary group leader in the local council of this place. In the 2009 federal election she ran as a direct candidate in the constituency of Mosel / Rhein-Hunsrück and was ranked 7th on the state list. She lives in Gornhausen in the Hunsrück.
