Dunfermline City Chambers
The Dunfermline City Chambers are the town hall of the Scottish city of Dunfermline in the Council Area Fife . In 1971, the building was included as an individual monument in the Scottish list of monuments in the highest monument category A.

The town hall was built between 1876 and 1879 to a design by the Scottish architect James Campbell Walker . The high Victorian corner house stands at the confluence of Kirkgate with Bridge Street on the western edge of the center of Dunfermlin. Its masonry consists of light-colored sandstone blocks that were built into layered masonry . It has an L-shaped floor plan.
A dominant clock tower rises from the corner of the building. It is lavishly ornamented with corner tours , crowns and some neo-Gothic detailing. Lukarnen with stepped gables protrude into the copper roof with tower clocks in stylized aedicules . The detailed design with cantilevered turrets, structured cornices , crowns and stepped gables is continued over the facades along the streets. Closing roofs are designed with pinnacles and ornamented with wrought iron .
