Dungen is a Swedish indie rock band from Stockholm .

The band was founded in 1998 around lead singer Gustav Ejstes, at that time still heavily influenced by the influences of progressive rock of the 1960s and 1970s, as well as Swedish folk music. In the years that followed, her music developed in the direction of psychedelic rock with progressive elements.

Even if they sing in Swedish without exception , the band is very popular outside of Sweden. Among other things, they played several tours in the USA.
