Kemado Records is an American independent label from New York City , which sells records in the music genres rock , indie rock , alternative rock , heavy metal and hard rock .

history

Kemado Records was founded in 2002 by Tom Clapp and Andres Santo Domingo and released its first phonogram the following year. In 2008 the imprint Mexican Summer was created , which initially issued limited small series of vinyl records before it became the most important identifier for Kemado Records. In 2014, Kemado Records was converted into a media company that expanded into the fields of acquisition, management and distribution of media rights. Then, in 2015, initiated the label now trading under the name Kemado Media Group , another imprint called Anthology Recordings, an external label that already existed and was relaunched by Kemado Records after it was taken over.
